DHIS2 Functionality in Benishangul Gumuz Region
The District Health Information System (DHIS2) is currently functional across the Benishangul Gumuz Region, supporting routine health data management and reporting.
The system is actively implemented in 60 health centers, 7 hospitals, and 23 woredas, covering 3 zones and 1 special woreda.
DHIS2 plays a key role in improving data collection, reporting, analysis, and evidence-based decision-making at all levels of the regional health system. Its implementation has contributed to better data quality, timely reporting, and strengthened health system performance.
