eCHIS Functionality in Benishangul Gumuz Region
The electronic Community Health Information System (eCHIS) is being implemented in selected woredas of the Benishangul Gumuz Region to strengthen community-level health data management and service delivery.
Currently, eCHIS is functional in 6 woredas: Bambasi, Homosha, Undulu, Abrehamo, Ura, and Menge. The system is actively operating across 152 health posts, supporting health extension workers in digital data collection and reporting.
The implementation of eCHIS has improved data accuracy, timeliness, and real-time tracking of community health services, contributing to better planning and decision-making at the local level.
